Re: A dealer's perspective - life at Oxford H-D

Wishing you all the best John, I don't usually have much time for $tealerships and the suits that run them but you just spending a little time on here has earned your self a lot or respect.
Hope you sorted and back up & running soon.
L&R Kev.

No mate, not Plymouth. Bit too much of a commute from here is sunny Oxfordshire! Is there a dealer being talked about for that part of the world then? I believe H-D UK was looking for someone to open in Plymouth a while back, but I don't believe it came to anything.

Just to let you all know that my role in my new job will be a couple of rungs down the ladder from the post I held at Oxford. I'm not interested in being responsible for anyone other than myself now, so I'm going back to doing something I think I'm quite good at - selling bikes! Don't want or need a Manager's badge anymore, and all the crap that goes with it, so I'm going back to dealing with people, enjoying myself, and making a few quid at the same time!
