Your SatNav fecked again Baza?

East Mids meets in Derby, about 50 miles from Coventry.

South East Mids (Region 9) officially meets at Measham (25 miles) although since Boss's untimely death I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Alternatively Region 25 (Black Country) meet at Stourbridge, which is 39 miles away, or you could save a bit of gas (33 miles) and go to Naseby Field's meet at Market Harborough.

I take it you won't be standing as Reps Liaison Officer at the next AGM?

Re: Dare I ask?

Gollum, this has been said before but it's worth repeating; you join the club and find a region which suits you, or not as the case may be!

Our regions meet on various nights and at varying times; whilst they are denoted geographically there are no hard and fast rules about which one you go to. Furthermore you don't have to be a member to attend a meet and try us for size. Check out ther regional pages for details.

Re: Dare I ask?

we're better cus we've had much more practise at back stabbing and slagging each other off - just look at the recent high points of the club. After all could you imagine HOG commitee members playing handbags for all to see - I think not.

come to region 23, we ignore everyone we don't know we are inbred - it's a family thing

Re: Dare I ask?

It seems like there are a few from Coventry on this forum but not much happens here. I think Naseby Field is possibly the best region to visit first.

Just to p!55 you all off though here are my views so far:
I don't think I am going to mix with the HOG people. So far I have felt the icy cold stares when I have visited some of the dealers. The worst being Towcester this weekend. I thought I had arrived at my mother in laws! I am sure some were sniggering at my non posh Harley gear (boots from TJ Max, leather pants from a cheap crossdresser shop etc).

Then I look at the pictures of you guys and it looks like I've got to grow a wierd beard, get my ears pierced buy a waistcoat, start smoking and get
p!553d all of the time.

I've also never been camping unless you call kipping in trucks for half of my life camping out. I could see myself getting bladdered on that farm, loving the band and then wanting to sleep in the local hotel.

So to summerise, I think I'm too low brow for the the Hogs and too refined for you guys.

Come on then, shoot me down cos you can't send me to Coventry, I'm already there.
