Wanted - advice regarding bike boots

Has any lady HD rider found a pair of bike boots that are waterproof, comfortable and stylish? I have had my bike boots for about the last 15 years and they are as waterproof as a sponge

Okay, I'm not a girly but I still don't like wet feet.

I wear Engineers boots that are 18 years old, not stylish but very comfortable, but definitely not designed as waterproof Bike boots.

I rub Nik wax into them, it's works a treat.

If yer boots have gone really porous you might need to do the Nik wax thing a few times, but it does work.

Nik wax is available from camping and walking shops.

Hi Magick.

How about these :

Bike Gear For Girls - Products - Boots

Although they may be too expensive for what you want.

You could also try tro get to the NEC Bike Show starting
on Nov 24th to Dec 2nd.

See if you can pick up a bargain.
The main problem is what style of boot are you after.

I just wear a pair of cowboy boots on both my FXSTC 1340
and my CBR 1000.

Get Dutch para boots from military supply stores. About £20 for some in v.good condition. Rub NikWax or neatsfoot oil into them. Threy are comfy as fcuk and waterproof for severasl hours at a time (not for ever, sadly) enough for most trips.

Magick

If you really like your old boots and just don't want to get your feet wet - try some of these

SealSkinz Mid Light Waterproof Sock KE351 SpecialistSocks.com

They also do long ones !!

I have an old pair of Redwings - leak like fu(k - but with a pair of these my feet are dry and toasty !!!!

Yep. Got a pair of Altbergs and swear by 'em. Made in Britain and the company go out of their way to help (so maybe the management aren't British). They have half sizes and are good value too.
