Credit where credit's due pt2...

Stockport H-D has recently done the unexpected (and unthinkable for some dealers!) for a new Softail owner.

When he was having repeated problems with the quality of the chrome on new bars (having a new set fitted on the first service), out of frustration he said he wanted an end to the messing around. "Ok, what do you want us to do to make it right"? They said. He told them & they agreed-no quibble!.

What a treat to be able to say that.

Well done Stockport H-D, keep it up and other dealerships take note.

Is this one of those urban myths? Or did it really happen? Is it on snopes?

OK, credit to the dealership for replacing the bars; no stars for H-D though 'cos they've had this problem for longer than I've had Harleys, surely it's high time they sorted it!
