Evel Knievel: An Update!

Eiveil Kneivil.
Very sad to note the death of a motorcycle legend today. Especially a brave guy who did many of his stunts on a Harley.

Re: Evel Knievel

Well you could at least have spelled his name right.

Gave me lots of laughs and thrills, even the crappy film.
Won't see the like again. Wonder if they will bury him in a white leather?

Evel Knievel Dies at 69

mlindorsing products. Thousands came to Butte, Mont., every year as his legend was celebrated during the "Evel Knievel Days" festival.

"They started out watching me bust my ass, and I became part of their lives," Knievel said. "People wanted to associate with a winner, not a loser. They wanted to associate with someone who kept trying to be a winner."

His death came just two days after it was announced that he and rapper Kanye West had settled a federal lawsuit over the use of Knievel's trademarked image in a popular West music video.

Re: Evel Knievel RIP

Rest In Peace Evel Knievel.

Knievel died in Clearwater, Florida on November 30, 2007, at the age of 69. He had been suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis for many years. Longtime friend Billy Rundle reported that Knievel had trouble breathing while at his residence in Clearwater, but died before the ambulance could reach the hospital.

Re: Evel Knievel

Remember Evel Knievels quote

"All the money in the world can’t buy your way into heaven, it can’t buy your way out of hell, it was made to be spent right here. And I’m gonna have the best clothes, best boots, best diamonds, best cars, trucks, motorcycles, booze and women on the face of this earth, just as long as I can keep going".

You betcha.

RIP
