| Re: Joining Harley Owners Group (hog) Isn't it cool. A chap has a perfectly good question. "How do I join the rival Club?". He asks the question in a reasonable way and gets a bunch of reasonable answers. So civilised. I do hope a hoggy making a similar request on a Hoggy website about joining the RC would get similar help. If so, ain't biker type peeps the salt of the earth?

| Re: Joining Harley Owners Group (hog) Before joining the Riders Club I had 5 fantastic years with the New Forest Hog lot and i have to say their rallies were superb, and the people that i was friendly with meant that i had a great time. following an interesting split with my then partner I found out about the HDRCGB and started attending their rallies. without wishing to be shot down in flames it is the people that you associate with that make a good club irrespective of whom they might be or who they are affiliated with. Further to Grays comments i would be very surprised if many HOG members had heard of HDRCGB, personally i was quite insular as a member of HOG and never felt the need to broaden my horizons and never really took a great deal of interest in other clubs. certainly thinking back the friends i had would not have passed a negative thought about any other club but would happily of promoted HOG. If there is a need to demean HOG it is bizarre and i wonder if it stems from some peculiar notion of inferiority ![]() since I have four children to look after now the rallies i used to go to are a distant memory, hopefully next year we will be going to one HDRCGB rally, not like when i was a HOG member and used to attend 8 or so a year, but circumstances change.
