Airbed

Can anyone give me the name and details of a double airbed that can be inflated by a built-in fan & motor and powered by the electrical link on a Harley? Army stores or Argos, I don't mind, but with the rally season already upon us, I need one of these beauties very soon.

Re: Airbed

John you could just as easy use a normal air matress and a seperate pump (mains and 12volt). Then if either bit goes wrong then you don't have to replace the lot. Pop into Tescos and you can buy the two for about £25.

I love a man with a sense of optimism. You know you'll fall asleep half in a chair and half on the table.

Re: Airbed

Nah, boogie. This lightweight has turned over a new leaf - rallys are no longer for letting your hair down, getting pissed, falling over and sleeping your way through a wheelbarrow ride back to the tent.
Instead gentlemen, rallys are for early nights and missing the bands, and lying in late and missing the rideout. And a good airbed is duly required if I'm not to wake in the night needing a pee and missing good snoozing time

This btw is a sort of sensible answer - just got in from the pub (got to be up at 5 tomorrow) and saw the thread. we use a double airbed with an integral pump that runs on 4 C cell batteries. Does the job in about two minutes. Can't really remember where we got it from but the thing is that if you go to any of the rreputable (and some not so reputable) camping shops, you're sure to find what oyu want. Ours is in the garage at the mo so I can't give details but if I rememberr when I et back from my Kendo weekend I'll head off to the grage and check out the info, then pot some mor detais
