Kind words indeed willy_warmer, for I am one of the aforementioned bunch; regrettably, not one of us owns a trike....yet.
I'm going to look at an axle for my own project this morning but the chances of that being done anytime soon are about the same as petrol being 50p a litre next month.
Still optimistic about what I mentioned before, Anne, should find out more in next couple of days.

Probably met on the Toy run Pete which is where I remembered seeing a trike.
