Re: Bike Lift

Got my lift from M&P and I have been very pleased with it. Used on a Heritage and a Sportster. I ordered it by phone and was asked what sort of bike I was putting on it. When I said a Harley they explained they had a slightly different model that folds lower and will easily go under the Harley. The lad that took the order was a Harley owner and was aware of the problem of ground clearance. Sometimes it pays to order by phone.

Re: Bike Lift

I only heard about it on this forum so I went out and bought three, one for me and one each for a couple of mates, but it cost a lot more to get it over here to Jersey,
However it works great on my Fatboy, but don't know what it will work like on my friends Street Bob's, not as flat as mine underneath.
I used it this sunday after getting caught out in the rain and found it very strong and safe and much more comfortable with the padded stool on coasters.
So thanks for letting me know.
I am looking for a good flip face lid with bluetooth for me and the misses for our trips over to france, so if anyone knows of a good one I would like to hear about it.
I have the midland BT intercom for the open face if anyone wants to make me an offer once I have my new lid (cost around £150 new and is still as good as new with the box instructions and charger)

You wouldn't happen to have the product code or make/model of that lift would you please, Tony? Finally got around to calling M&P to order one, but the salesman didn't know of any model with a lower minimum lift.

Re: Bike Lift

Unfortunately that one appears to have a minimum lift too high for mine (fxdwg), but sounded like Tony was offered an alternative one when he called them.

Anyone has used the one linked in the original post with a wideglide?

I guess worst scenario would be to roll the bike onto something to lift it enough to get the lift under it.
