Harley Davidson Club Somerset Rally

Event Date : Friday 25th July 2008 to Sunday 27th July 2008

Just tonight I was sitting up in bed flicking through 100% Biker and realizing that on the weekend of 24 to 27 July neither of us have to work, none of my kids are staying for the weekend, and my neighbor might be around to look after our Collie and three cats.

Great I thought...we have missed nearly everything so far this summer, was intending to go to the Welsh show in May (and we all know what happened to that) thought we would make the Bull Dog Bash but I now have to work.........plus we have missed all the HD Club rallies so far..and even our Local Hoggie rally.........

Anyway I suddenly realized that we could go to the Rock and Blues

No we apparently cant because its not happening.Just found out

I have not started this thread to start discussion as to why this particular rally has been stopped.

However as anyone who reads the biker press will know, the argument goes something like......... why are biker events being canceled? when every other dam festival, carnival, Rock gig, Football match etc etc is still on

Like i said not trying to start rumors and speculation, I am just a well pi**ed off Bike lover who can see his way of life being eroded away and helpless to do anything about it.

Oh and does anyone know if there are any MAG meetings or groups closer to us than West Mids area (Preferably North Wales) Have been a member for some time now, but finding it difficult to get involved when everything happens so far away from where we live. Oh well maybe there is a MAG Rally we can go to that weekend instead
