How was the year,s rallies and gatherings for you?

for me OZ great to meet north and south and the bit in the middle 8 out of 10

river dart my own rally so abit by-us but a brilliant site 10out of 10

cornish cream full of good ideas very friendly 10 out of 10

new forrest a brilliant club really make you welcome and a good site 10 out of 10

westcounty gathering there first again good friendly group keep it up boys
isee that snowflake has had to move areas so it up to you to progress with this one 8 out of 10 good for first go

perrys a special event for me its the chill out weekend not for everyone as
very basic 9 out of 10

somerset at minehead good to see you had a large turnout Bill,s home rally
the sun was out all weekend lovely area 8 out fo 10

this is my opinion only please comment on the rally that you have attended

Those that I have attended have all been spot on
And there is still the Poker Run to go

This was the 1st rally year for us,
Thought we would just try 1 as didnt think it would be for us, But it was! It started with the river dart,went on to do new forest, kent, triple, farm party,Oswestry all of them brillant, Mr P also did offshore and is doing Centrum,what a fantastic 1st year we have had,The people we have met get 10/10!
We cant do poker run as we have Ace cafe Run and a party that weekend.

I only wish a few more were squeezed in,,

Think Os will be my last one this year,,

Midsummer night rally organized by the Breda Harley davidson Club (NL) was the best for me...

Funds have been a bit tight this year so not as many as usual.................


Winter web party - excellent as usual

Chinnor, cold but friendly didnt win the guitar!

Northern Ireland, Dromore, a good craic as usual but they took the Michael out of me cause I went on my "dads bike"

Spring Fever rally - Warmwell near Weymouth nice and easy "Chalet rally"

The Devon rally, always a good one, had to go to work on the Saturday 160 mile round trip no problem worth it though!

Asturias rally, Northern Spain, great ride, brilliant food, had a crackin weekend, only problem is the price of Brittany ferries

The Cornish Cream absolute crap - full of hairy assed bikers drinking cocktails and eating Pasties


Aint done nothing since but will make up for it next month - Big Twin Castellon and Lake Garda

I have not given them ratings as they are all good, is there such a thing as a bad rally?

Naseby - I wouldn't change a thing for next years rally. Top Job.

Denmark Super Rally - Few niggles like but I enjoyed it. Might do a couple of HDC Denmark rallies next year.

The best one is always the next one John?
End of last year I decided to retire from all the rallies, Bid a fond farewell to all the good mates in the region/club, All the camping, the walking around like Max Wall for the first half hour in the morning until the back starts working again. Opening a toilet door and then phoning Jurassic Park and telling them one of their brontosauri is on the loose.
Listening to the heavy rain lashing down on the tent all night. The constant twanging and shouts of f**k it as people go over the guy ropes because they can’t find their tent at 3 in the morning. The beer cans lying about first thing like some memorial from the previous nights partying. Having to face a big fried breakfast still hung-over. Having to do the same for the rest of the weekend.
No I’d had enough!
So Come October as some of you are aware the Harley went and got meself a nice BMW tourer . Quite refined gonna be B&B from now on. Bit of piss take from the guys but No more rallies!
Come December I traded in the Beemer for another Harley as I missed it? Thought I’d do a couple more rallies for old time sake so did the Central South Thirteenagers bash, Region 14 WC (floaters) party, Superally Denmark, Dart, New Forest, Cornish Cream, Triple, BNM Farm Party Oswestry and each one has had their individual moments. finally I’m booked up for the Centrum. But that’s it from now on!
