| Re: crash helmet reccomendations???? I have a Roof Boxer Jim. Although I've now removed the chin bar cos I never used it and I felt restricted with it down. So it now closely resembles the Roof Roadster which is also a great lid IMHO. The visor works really well and the helmet stays in place with no lifting even at high speeds. There is also the option of fitting the removable pilot mask if it's raining. All for about £115. Deuce |

| Re: crash helmet reccomendations???? I use the jet flip up. It ain't stylish, then nor am I. It's far enough from your face that it won't mist up too easy and when it's fliped up it keeps your fag dry. ![]() I wear glasses now but I switched from gogles years ago as I got fed up with my face getting cut to shreads from stones etc. Bob Heath Visors - CLEARLY THE BEST A bonus is they will switch the pump on if you just flip it up.Some garages won't till you take a full face off for the cctv. As an aside,I use glasses with those bendy titanium frames. They're light and you can put on before or after helmet and they don't get bent out of shape. |

| Re: crash helmet reccomendations???? I have the Caberg trip it is a good helmet with the handy built in sun visor ,and good clearance on my chin ,and fairly easy to operate the flip mechanism I also wear a roof roadster which is comfortable and allows me better vision but i get bit more wind noise ,the pilot mask was useless for me tho ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

| Re: crash helmet reccomendations???? Just bought my first full face for many years, gone from a Roof Boxer which I liked when I got it...but since I moved to the Buell (with no screen) I have found neck strain is a problem. I was up at Bridge in Exeter and picked up a 'Roxter' full face for £29.99...might be a cheap option to try them out..I find it pretty comfortable less/no neckstrain loads of vents to play with and it so far hasn't steamed up which the roof did all the time with the front bit down.

| Re: crash helmet reccomendations???? Schuberth flips are brilliant - I used one for instructing for a few years - but expensive. Worth it if you use the bike a lot, maybe less so if you don't do that much mileage. |
