short notice request for help

just had this come in - any of you 13ers or west londoners help ?

"Hi I hope you are well. Sorry to just ask you this question out of the blue. I am hoping to surprise my older sister with a birthday wish. It was her 30th birthday in November but unfortunately my uncle passed away and she didn't get to celebrate it.

She has MS and one of her life time ambitions is to sit on the back of a Harley Davidson. I have organised a surprise birthday for her next weekend and was hoping that you would be able to put me in touch with someone who could surprise her and take her for a ride even if it's just for half an hour. I don't mind paying a fee as long as I can afford it.

We live in North West London. I have checked on the internet but the Harley rides that are available are from the city and she can't really travel on the tube to the city as it tires her out. She isn't in a wheel chair but gets tired very easily.

Could you please point me in the right direction of who to get in touch with to fulfil her wish? I hope to hear from you soon.

Mort it is doing the rounds to ALL H-D riders here and on face book, and if you look on her face book wall I have told her to go to Assistance Please and ask....also I have passed on to two other Nth London clubs.

These sort of requests pop up all over the place. I belong to a tandem bicycle club and they get several each year, including from tv and film crews. Someone has just asked for use of a quad bike (four seater). Rare as....
