Membership numbers

Was talking at the weekend about how many members the club has..at the bottom of this site it says we have 2232 members,am I right in thinking this is just 'online' members and doesnt reflect the total number of paid up members?
If so just how many do we have ?

HDRCGB website members including registered guests.

Club members but not necessarily on this site circa 1750.

2232 is the number of site users. The Club actually has about 1600 members of which 650 are registered on this site

Re: Membership numbers

So around 1600-1700 members, have to say Im surprised at that, I'd have thought it more...we often ask ourselves how many have we got in our region (17) and I reckon we got 100 or so.but who really knows.
We regularly have 20 or more on our Sunday ride-outs,and for sure thats only a small percentage of members in 17.

Re: Membership numbers

If it's numbers of active members then it's a lot less; by active I mean attends meetings, rideouts, rallies or even contributes on here or in the Quin.

Regrettably we will never get all members active, but it's always good to see more.

As President and past committee member of another club this is a frequent topic of debate! All clubs rely, to some degree, on their 'sleeping' members. 'Twas ever thus....
