Re: Buell no more?

I talked to a mate of mine today, a Brit Ex Pat who works for Buell in Milwaukee as a tech expert.

They were all gutted. They all thought that there may be some trimming here & there. None of them even imagined that they would close.

They have 150 odd bikes to assemble with the parts on hand, & they will be kept on until just before Xmas. After the bikes are completed they will be stripping & cleaning the leased building.

My mate is very lucky & is being transferred to Harley HQ full time, & will keep his job.

Re: Buell no more?

You sounded a bit bitter there, Buells not my cup of tea, would rather a speed triple but its horrid when a manufacturer goes to the wall, unless its one of the Jap big 4 ( waits for mud ).
