| Re: Harley's 120" Screamin' Eagle motor
There are a few being reported on US forums that have been installed in bikes and, after careful set-up, achieving the promised numbers. Despite the 'racing' tag most seem to be in dressers! They give a handsome wide torque curve and, in all probability, an extremely broad smile! Shame they only fit later TC bikes. Even more frustrating is they can be had for 5k dollars.... |

| Re: Harley's 120" Screamin' Eagle motor With a motor mount adaptor, available at all good Indies you can fit this engine to earlier Evo style frames.

![]() Phil, I can see there are adaptors available for TC88s, are they also available for TC96s? The 120R is only available in the later form, with no external oil pump pipework (I understand). I haven't paid much attention on US forums, but so far the concensus suggests that is a problem for owners of older TCs wanting a 120R. |

Good point, I'll have to have a look and think about that. They also offer this as an upgrade to the stock TC96 A engine under part numbers 30086-10 for 08 up tourers and 30087-10 for 06 up dynas and 07 tourers. This kit will need crankcase boring. Don't have a TC96. I suspect retro-fitting a 120R efi engine to a carb Evo would prove pretty complicated and obviously involve a great deal more than just an engine.... |

| Re: Harley's 120" Screamin' Eagle motor
Had my FXCWC upgraded with the 120R in January, the thing to remember is that the base map provided by Harley is right out of whack, the engine needs LOTS of dyno time to get it running in a decent state of tune with a SESRT. Once that's done, it's incredible! |

Robin Hood have been selling them for a fair few months earlier the year and have had no reported problems as far as I am aware

| Re: Harley's 120" Screamin' Eagle motor
We installed one in a brand new Road Glide. I had a ride after break in miles & a dyno. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Snapping the throttle at freeway speeds in fifth, is quite invigorating .
