My first ride.

Hi all, thought i`d post a few pic`s of my new Iron. BikePics - thumperxt's 2010 Harley Davidson XL 883 Sportster Home Page on BikePics.Com

I managed a spin early on Saturday morning, freezing cold but worth it. This was my first ride (and my first Harley )since buying it last December and i can`t wait untill spring. South Wales weather back to normal now though...... rain, rain and more rain.

Re: My first ride.

Got my first Harley (Sportster XL) in December too. Went out Sunday to get some miles on it coz I'm still running it in...............It was bloody freezing! I can keep everything warm except my hands. Not found a good enough pair of gloves yet!!

Re: My first ride.

Have you tried Dainese D Dry winter gloves. I find them pretty good as i`m always wrapped up on the bike myself.

I've now got a pair of arctic gloves with a silk pair underneath ;) Pretty damn good! Roll on the summer - I can't wait to get out and about. Will be able to visit my brother in Swindon and want to experience bike night in Poole!

BMW make some lovely toasty warm winter gloves. Better still they are black with orange linings, so very Harley!
