Let's face it, hardly anyone from Bristol comes to the Kicking Donkey and hardly anyone from The Floaters goes to Bristol on a regular basis.

A good call Phil, however, are you proposing just one meet a month at the Globe or are you looking at still having a meet at the KD as well?

One official meet a month. If anyone wants to continue going to the KD or "old" Bristol place that's up to them.

There is definitely an "us and them" with two official meeting places. Add to this the people who use the web and those who don't and it's further fragmented.

When is the first meet? 1st, 2nd or third Wednesday in the month? Again, my vote would be for the 2nd Wednesday for the regions 'official' meeting, then those who wish to can still do the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays to the then 'unofficial' meetings, that way we don't piss anyone off (I hope!)
Which 'Globe' are we talking about, is it the one just off the roundabout on the Keynsham to Bath road?

It's always bugged me that we don't/can't meet up centrally as a single region. How soon can we get this going?

I'd travel to the globe, easy to find with good road access!
Its a fact of life that with meets that your always going to be a way away from somebody. I live over near Weston Super Mare so both existing venues are at least forty-five mins away, but we're riders rite! so a run to the pub is what its all about isn't it
