Our Next Meet

So, are we (in Bristol anyway) gonna move to the Globe on the 3rd Wednesday of the month or what?
If so, someone needs to talk to the Globe BEFORE we all (how many ??) turn up there, I'm happy to do that if required but I feel we should do it sooner rather than later. On a personal note, I'd like to see us in this region get together more.

28 there last night - not all members, but good numbers all the same - nice selection of bikes too.

General concensus seems to be to keep the KD date at the first Wed and make the effort to go to the Globe (3rd Wed) or wherever is chosen as well.

Pardon me for pointing this out but as I remember the events nothing was discussed in any great depth and to post that the "general concensus" was anything other than "not taken" would be inaccurate. Did you go to the same meeting as me?

That's why it was put in " ".

Those who did discuss it 'seem' to have given their opinion, which overall came up with what I said above, as such this was a 'general consensus'; there were one or two that were for a single meet either at the KD or at/@ Bristle, but OVERALL it apears that those who discussed it favoured two meets.....that's what I meant - was this wrong?

As for meetings - we never seem to have them, it seems to be more like an in depth conversation which yield little or no conclusive decision. I thought that those that did discuss this did so in greater depth than usual....

I missed the meeting again

Must admit I find the hour and half ride from ciren to the KD too much to accomodate at the end of a day, so meeting in Bristol for me is a bridge too far. But then the KD is as well as it turns out. Maybe I should start a sub region in cirencester or gloucester (f'in ton's of Harleys around here)

Will see you on Saturday though and looking forward to it. Aiming to get down mid afternoon for a 'small sherry'

Would it be less hassle if we just did a trial run at the Globe to see who turns up. Do it on the 2nd or 4th Wednesday or any other day for that matter.
If it goes well "Yay" if not, nobody dies! Vote with your feet or wheels people!

Colin suggested that we go over next Wednesday evening to check it out. I think Mark and Sandra, Tony and Ann, and maybe a couple of others are up for it.

Anyone else interested look out on here and when the details (time etc) have been sorted I'll post.
