Just give me somewhere to park me tent, and get a beer, I'm happy! Might even bring along Rocket Ron to play the Spoons?

Either way all the best m8 and if the dates decided don't clash, we're hopefully see you guys for a pint at the Rugby club!

LATEST UPDATE

Trev has been onto the Rugby Club who are after a sh*tload of wonga for Liability/Indemnity Insewerance - too much for us, so it is a No Go.....

We have had some suggestions that we must now pursue.
The Pub by the Canal (discussed above) and the 2 other venues suggested by Phil.

Of course the other option is the old Kinky Donkey.....

Any ideas before I start making some calls...?

Remember:

Showers & Sh*tters would be a bonus, but at the end of the day we need a place for the tents, a Bar and somewhere to get some good grub and jive down to some tunes....all for as little as possible.

How about the Lysley Arms near Chippenham. Definately a biker friendly pub

lysley arms as a possible venue would pose a big problem due to the fact that the camping space is very very limited. but i will say that they are totally biker friendly pub,and its walking distance from hadyn the rounds houseno what i meen harry, say no more see 'e' trev

Good luck with organising yer do dudes, from little acorns big trees grow.

I trust an invite will be extended to your good neighbours "The Massive". We're just across the county line in west oxfordshire. 3 ex NCC included in our lot.

If you've ever done scrivs vintage & sporty do you'll know a band ISN'T essential for a good time. Sometimes its cool just to sit , chat ,
chew the fat, with out "born to be wild" belting out in the background (again). Much cheaper too .....
Toodlepip.
Cloudy.

Lysley Arms is a good venue and is big enough if you are not expecting 5,000 (although I know a good receipe that only needs some fish and bread).

Seriously I think that this idea needs to be thrashed out at the next meeting and to that end I would suggest that everyone gets thier thinking heads on and comes armed with thier honest opinions including the level of involvement that they are willing or not to offer.

If we can't come up with concrete ideas by then and agree a way forward then perhaps the best plan would be to put it on hold for next year and plan accordingly.

i've seen more camping space in the round one's front garden. 10-12 tents max at it lysley arms, still we could walk home from there.maybe camping would be allowed at rear of pub in which case it would become suitable. anyway we would be happy to attend any event and help out in some way.

Can we say then that we will get as many as possible along on the first Wed in Feb to chat this through......?

Serious discussion mind, not the usual banter.
