Re: Denmark Rally

Geoff, Rob

I'm losing track of what everyone is doing in these threads, however think your going over on the Thurs night and leaving from Harwich???

If thats anywhere near right, then maybe we could meet up on the M4 past the Cirencester turn-off - I don't know; at the services?

Appeciate riding up the M4 doesn't have the appeal of a 500 yard mass ride onto the ferry, however - you know, may be a good warm up

Let me know, Cheers, Roy

Roy,
Yes, I'll be catching the late boat on the Thursday Dept Harwich at 2345 hrs), which gets into Holland at @ 0745 hrs on the Fri morn. That means a nice Friday ride up to the site, getting in mid afternoon(ish).....if you're up for that, then great - I'll have to arrange an RV later 'cos I may go straight from work (Farnborough).
I'm catching the 1430 sailing back on the Monday (arrives 2000 hrs).

Total price (incl single berth each way) = £167. I guess that this will get more over the next few weeks, so I am looking at booking within the next week - let me know your plans.

Re: Denmark Rally

M8, I'm long booked. F'ing prices have gone up, jeezus muffer of jeez

On the same boat as you going out. Quite a few of us, think Baza (who I am yet to meet) is on it as well.

I'm coming back overnight on the monday, however might be up for travelling back with you - hangover depending

One of my mates is coming along, twin gun axe wielding Ian as I call him, nice bloke ;-) He's not a HDRC'er yet, maybe Denmark will convince him. He is yet to experience riding in a pack, the nuts.

So, nearer the time, probably at the May club meet when I should be back on my knees with a fixed ankle - we can synchronise watches and plan to meet up on the way out.

Think Warbird is heading straight for the cafe and doing his reverse D-day landing assault

Yus, I is on da wednesday Harwich-Esjberg ferry which gets to Esjberg on Thurday 12.00 ish then a smooth ride to the rally, around 70/80 miles then returning on the following Tuesday (after a monday visit to a viking museum) arriving at Harwich 13.00 on the wednesday!
Looking forward to meeting with everyone when we get there, I may try to hook up with some of the noo forest guys on their way through to Harwich as they are on the same ferry as me.

Roy, Hope the ankle is getting better!

SF, Have you got your booking sorted yet??

Hi Geoff, We aint sorted a route yet but probably be A303 M3 M25 Dartford crossing M25 A12 to Harwich which seems to be the fastest route although you might go M4? either way m8 if we don't hook up on the road see you at the Port/Ferry/Bar. What you drinking!
