Hi, Does anyone know of any camp sites on the way back to the ferry or cheapish hotels as my mate who booked the ferry booked the return on the 13th by mistake. Plus i hear that you cant camp on the rally site after the 12th. Any ideas would be a help. Cheers

We are going up to a Viking museum on the Monday & camping near there for the night then coming back to Esjburg for the ferry on the Tuseday evening, what ferry are you on?

So, you can camp up to, & including the 12th? which would mean you wake up on the morning of the 13th then catch the ferry home, Am I missing something here?
I think you mean you can only camp up to the 11th which is the Sunday night & we have to leave the site on Monday morning!

Hi Warbird, thougt i'd read that the mornin of the 12th was the last day of camping which meant that as we not gettin the ferry to Harwich tilll 18.45 on the 13th. but hopefully will meet up on the ferry over as we leave at 6pm on the 7th, the same time as yourselves. We can have a few or many beers and arange somethin for the trip back.skol

Hi Skunk, Where are you riding to the ferry from? I'm going from Bristol so maybe we could hook up on the way somewhere? I'm sure you'd be welcome to join our visit to the museum on the Monday before heading back to the ferry.
I'm still trying to get onto the Superrally website with not much luck!

Question. When we get to the SR, you have also booked a hotent and mentioned taking it into the HDRC 'zone'. [without wanting to sound like I am in a parent-child relationship with life] Can you do this? Must admit, I thought it was a case of turn up and there would be hotent zone and some tickboxer would moan if you moan if you wanted to move. If you can move them, it would be good to camp out with those harley chaps

Need peoples help. I am riding to Harwich with Twin Gun Axe Wielding Ian, with whom I have a 'planning meeting' on Friday night next week (aka p'up). Now the planning bit, wanna make sure I have covered the steps because its been a while since I've been to a rally. So.... step 1) make sure bike isn't about to fall apart, step 2) ensure beer tokens, step 3) get to ferry before it leaves and step 4) follow shite load of harleys to the camp site.

Did I miss anything?

BTW: I am out of cast now (Thurs last week), so Twin Gun Axe Wielding Ian, who is also happens to be a trained Physio, taught me how to walk again over the weekend (!) and various stretching exercises. So going at it like a nutter (rude not to). Will be making my debut at a club meet at the dancing horse in May, looking forward to seeing you all again and picking up my WC patch from Snowflake (and if the Quin ever comes out again, will be ordering a HDRC patch). Happy daze!

Hi Roy, glad to hear your ankle is getting better! Snowflake passed your patch on to me so I'll let you have it at the Kinky Ass.

The Hotents at the rally can be asked for as a self errection pack as noted on the ordering page on their website, or you can have one of the ready erected ones in the Hotent field the choice is yours although I expect you will want to be with us (especialy if SF brings a bottle of Wild Turkey)

Roy, as WB says, he has your patch, but see you on the next Wed Meet anywayz - I'll be with you to H'wich too, we just need to arrange an RV.

SF (as we are on acronym terms); I need to sort out work times etc and what time my mate can get away then will arrange a place to meet up. If not Harwch itself.

Does anyone have an old copy of the Quin and give me the product name/code and ordering details for a HDRC patch. Just want a small one to go above my top pocket, to sit under the WC patch.

Seem to have binned all my Quins and havn't received one for some time ...

I should be there next weds, what time do we meet up?
