Well, Saturday was good (if not a little lonley out there on the road .. ).

Started of with riding down to Steve Pipers in Eastleigh. Few retrobates milling around outside to say hello to and then I realised when I popped into the loo, that my face had picked up about a ton of road salt - hence a couple of interested looks as I walked in. Anyway, it was a shop with Harleys and parts. The workshop was out of bounds, so for me the interesting part could not be seen.

Then rode around into Salisbury for a cornish pasty and parking ticket (! being contested as I write). Weather was holding out, then rode up to 3 spires customs (Three Spires Customs - Builders of bespoke American V-Twin motorcycles) just outside of Pewsey. I fell in 'love' - been toying with the idea of buying a nightrain next year - however having ridden one realised that I would probably *need* to spend the same amount of money that I did on my streetbob to replace shite .. I mean stock .. suspension, lights, seat and fit a stage 1. Why not just build one up from scratch is my current thiking - saw a nice frame and wheels combination (see picture below) and investigation has started ...

So, all in all - a good day out. Nice few miles to stretch the legs. Will be planning another soon ..
