Re: a short euro tour

got back 2 am this morning...

amazing drunkenmonkey was on the ferry 2 hours before us, so we met up in france, and headed to belgium.

went to the hotel bev sorted for the super rally, crickey she got a good deal, they wanted over £200 A ROOM. so we found a cheaper one.

After a night of beer and food and a bit of wandering about we all rode down to an amazing campsite in Luxembourg, it was cheap and had good facilities with the added bonus of being in a town, more huge platefuls of food beer and wine.

Chris left the next day for Oslo and we just had another lazy day wandering about eating and drinking.

On the wednesday we rode into Luxembourg city and did a bit of sightseeing, plus grub and beer of course. The town is and interesting mix of old and new, banking institutions dominate the new bit odf town, restaurants and shops being the other half.

The next day we uprooted and rode into Germany, camping on the river Mosel which eventually joins the rhine. just unbelievable roads, beautiful.. Village after village of bars and shops with vine covered mountains and hills. many old medieval bits to see were wine flowed like water. took a boat trip up the river.

The last few days were very wet so headed up to holland for the rally but didn't quite make it, opted for the comfort of a hotel in Eindhoven, from were the following morning day we rode home via a very interesting freight eastern european ferry from dover to Ramsgate (long ride that day).

Got home to find a txt message informing me I am working away in gatwick all week. Boll8x ah well enjoyed the little tour.
