anyone know of a cheap 125 for cbt

Hi

don't spose anyone knows of a very cheap 125cc bike we can buy/use. Sue wants to learn to drive the bike and we are looking for a cheap but reliable old 125cc so that she can take the cbt and then the full test.

cheers

500 quid. things have moved on a bit - Sue has decided to do the cbt first and then get a bike if she survives the cbt day - which she probably will so we are booking in the training for late this month if we can

cheers

Hi.

There's this in the club classified ads.

I don't know how far away it is from you.
Or if it's still for sale.

Re: anyone know of a cheap 125 for cbt

just booked sue's cbt for next friday.

i tried to sell her the idea of taking over my sportie leaving me just having to go buy a RK (we have no money but that has never mattered before!). Sadly she has some new fangled idea that she should be choosing her own bike and not just having my "hand-me-down".

Blddy independent thinking women.

Lot to be said for having a bike that she knows the history of than buying an unknown machine.

Re: anyone know of a cheap 125 for cbt

I have a friend who is about to sell her black Yamaha Drag Star 125cc...it is an 05 plate iirc with just under 12,000 miles on the clock...it has been used regularly and is in good condition. She lives in Bridgwater and is now buying a Virago 535. If anyone is interested then send me a PM if you want her contact details...i am not sure how much that she wants for it?

Don't forget if she does the test on a 125 she's restricted to 33bhp for 2 years.

Best to use the training school's bike and do Direct Access.
