Re: Who's rejoined?

Hi Kevin

Long time no see!

If you can make it, this Wednesdays meeting is the AGM. I'm proposing that we have a Sunday as well as a Wednesday meeting for exactly that type of problem.

I do agree with Phils commennts in his other post regarding moving one of our Westcountry meetings to a Sunday so I will be backing that at the AGM.
Glad to see you've rejoined. As you live about as far to the west of the region as possible would a Sunday meet in the east limit your attendance?

The east and south of the region are poorly served as far as meeting places go and I'm pretty sure we are not getting any members attending from these areas for that very reason.

It wouldn't take much in the way of technology to arrange a change of venue for each Sunday monthly meet.

Re: Who's rejoined?

I've rejoined, just waiting for my new card etc so I can update my details on the web site. I too have problems in attending meets due to distance. Last AGM was held in Chippenham and that was ideal for me, so any Sunday meets, or any meets for that matter held in that vicinity would be good for me.

No we are willing to travel to the East or South for a Sunday meeting . How far you thinking , will I need a passport ?.

No passport required! I'm just sounding out the idea before the AGM so that I can put a more definate proposal forward.

I'm not renewing, nothing to do with the club, recently it's been great getting involved in the reestablishment of region 14. Always had a crazy rock and roll time with the Sussex coasters too they are a great bunch, even if they are obsessed with food!

At the moment I've got far too many personal commitments to be able to be involved in the club, however I will try to make a couple of rallies at least this year. I think I've been a member for over decade and in that time have seen the club change; well to the better in my opinion, as have the bikes. A good majority of the members work very hard which makes a great club and their efforts never go unnoticed.

If things ease up a bit and I get a bit more time, I shall make every effort to rejoin again in a year or two.

I've had loads of happy days with the boys and girls at the club, but I think being a member means participating not just at rallies, but at the fortnightly meets and at the meetings including the club AGM, so as I'm unable to do this I won't rejoin but as I say will turn up at the rallies and will make every effort to keep in touch.

I look forward to catching up with you all soon, in the some damp and sodden field bleary eyed from the effects of alcohol.

Re: Who's rejoined?

Mike - tis a shame mate, especially (as you say) because of all the work getting the 'Wezzer' Region going again.

I doubt it will make any difference to how often I get to see you.

See you at the West Country Bash....?
