The pull here is a purchase price of £8650 being offered at the moment.

rear fender is gonna cost around $450, if I get one in the US next month.
Paint and stuff for the front is £100.
Swingarm, about £60.
Front motor mount/frame repair/repaint about £100.
Master cylinder tops need replacing- £60.

That would be £9270.

Now, a private sale of a 55 plate SG, with 30k on the clock, in good condition, would be between 9K and 10K.
So on a good day I could sell this next year and maybe even be a few hundred quid in pocket, if not, I got myself a bargain SG.

MotoUno has a 55 plate with 10K for £10700, thats with a tourpack.

Cheltenham say they have a 2006 for £10999.

I'm not put off by the mileage, it shows its not got dud tensioners.

Yep, saw it. Overpriced, I could import a better one myself for about 6 1/2. If I were buying a keeper that's what I would do, but we still have the emmigration planned for the near future.

I had seen it.

Its one of the first TC88's upgraded to 95". Its f-in miles away to have a look at....

I not partial to the silver motor, no offence, and its worth nearer 7k than 8 1/2.
The dealers seem to hold us the purchasers to blame for their giving too much allowance in part exchange...

I have my eyes on a 97 Road King, completely stock, got no screen, and its blue.

If I go for it I'm gonna paint it black, fit a batwing, fit a stereo and lower the shocks, Hey Presto, an Evo Street Glide...
