Did anyone attend The Hunters last Tuesday?
I set off on my WLC but only got as far as half way along Pool Road before I started to experience problems with what I thought to be my clutch. Travelling along at a steady 40mph and the bike kept losing power and then regaining it. Ah-ha clutch slipping thinks me. Pulled over and adjusted the clutch. Another 100 yds and the power was lost again. Pulled over and adjusted clutch again. Now I couldn't restart her. Someone pulled up on a V-max to try to help but not a lot he could do.
I persisted with trying to kick start but she just wouldn't fire. Petrol? Had a look in the tank and there was petrol visible but then realised that maybe I should have been on reserve. (You have pull up the supply valve on a 45). Tried this and after a few more attempts it fired up. Took it to the service station at Pool filled her up and was so exhausted and the sky looked so ominous that I decided (wisely) to just return home. Managed to get home just as the heavens opened.

Hi Graham, had quite a good turnout this month, good supper as well (chicken wings and wedges) stayed till the rain passed over (or so i thought) and set off for home, got to the top of Poole bank and down it came again, still good night out though. Give yer a ring at the weekend.
