Not as good as a Bee M

...........only kidding but now that I've got your attention...
After almost 40 years of riding bikes I've finally taken the plunge an bought a Harley. You Yorkshire folk seem pretty active so I'll keep an eye out for when you meet and if you see a guy on a blue and white Road King looking a bit bemused by everything that'll me so please come over say hello.
Look forward to meeting up,
Ian

Welcome. I think you'll find the Yorkshire lads a friendly bunch.

Talking of Bee Ems (as you so nearly were), there's some folk you'd expect to like them who don't: YouTube - Hitler HATES BMW's

Re: Not as good as a Bee M

Hi Ian
you're probably right it's not as good as a BMW but it's got a soul. It looks great, too. Nice colours and nice tank badge. Hope you're enjoying it. You can enjoy cleaning it now, after Sunday.

I called in at Planet Wash on the way home. £2 and it's spick and span again. Ride home to dry it and put it away no worries.

Had 5 Beemers over the years. The best one was the 90/S. That was a BM with soul. A bike I would like to own again.

Re: Not as good as a Bee M

Well you have hit the nail on the head. The GS was really "nice" but I couldn't stop grinning when I arrived home on Sunday. Now that hasn't happened since I had my Bonneville and that was a few miles ago.
