First Time Yesterday.........

..... out on the bike without having to clean it afterwards. York, Harrogate, Blubberhouses all whistled by with a stop before Ingleton to help a guy bump start his Gold Star. (A not bad DBD34 but the poor bloke had to get back to Manchester with no clutch. Try that with an RRT2 gearbox). Ended up at Bowness before turning home. Stopped off at Kirby Lonsdale for a cheese burger ( I think) where there were quite a few bikes parked up including a coupla Harleys out for the day. Then back home to York. A good day.

Question - Why was it a questionable cheeseburger!, got to be honest, having been severely stung by the prices at K Lonsdale bridge, I tend to get a sarnie from the town centre, cheaper and nicer.

Sounded great that trip Ian, I'm very jealous. Due to the current downturn I'm working most weekends doing contracts which I probably would never have done before, but needs must, can't wait for the first opportunity to get out on the bike again, i will keep looking for the posts. Happy riding

I went whizzin past Tan Hill with me littl'lun on the back moanin that she wuz cold otherwize I woz gonna stop. (just goes to show you should never let an opportunity pass!!)
Shoulda been on the ride out wiv the north east lot, but missed the kick off time coz I couldn't find the "maccy dees" they wuz meetin' at, an' being new to the area didn't know which way they went, so decided to do Tan Hill then drop into me parents house in Reeth for a cuppa.
Woz a luvverly day tho wern't it?! and ain't that road from swaledale to Tan Hill summat else!! a bikers mecca
