Hark To Bounty

If people have got nowt to do around lunchtime on Sunday, was thinking of having a spot of lunch at the Hark To Bounty in Slaidburn, get there for 12ish.
Wasn't going to plan a run, (as they usually include a none forecasted thunderstorm), just a ride, spot of lunch, and gentle ride back home.

Re: Hark To Bounty

Well, where were you then?! I rode up to Helwith Bridge to take Diane's present and card, as it is her birthday on Wednesday 8/4/09. (Let's see whether MacHarry puts it on the site). I was there for 11.30am. I left the pressie and then rode back through Settle. Loads of bikes including a few Harleys. I rode to Slaidburn, via Eldroth over the back roads. I arrived at Hark to Bounty at 1.00pm. No one there, not a Harley in sight.
I decided not lunch on my own, so I rode back home via Clitheroe, spotted some more Harley riders who waved and were very friendly as I filled up at the BP station. Was home for 2.30pm. Had a late lunch at home with my lovely daughter who had been doing a 'Nigella'. The house smelled of home baked cookies and lemon cake. Yum!
Did about 110 miles in total on my own and thoroughly enjoyed it.
