| Recomended tyre fitters
Ok - so after checking with Baza that this was the right place to post the question here goes...... What are the recommended tyre fitters in the county, loose wheel and on-bike. Would prefer to just run the bike in rather than jigger around myself. I have a lift but I'm not happy on how happy the old girl is sat on it! Its not and immediate requirement but think I'll need a new set of boot before my hols in August!

BMF saltaire road Shipley right prices and are used to Harleys loose wheels or on the bike. £250 for two new tyres on a fatboy taking the bike in, this is for Dunlops but will fit owt. I have tried the rest and think that Dunlops are the best. pete

Forget to mention I'm out at Skipton. Shipley - that seems good - tho I have heard they may be shutting up shop!

I'd take logo's advice, it's only 25 minutes to Saltaire from Skipton and they are the cheapest place I've found

| Re: Recomended tyre fitters Hi Dodzi BFM is now known as Hobbsport Racing in exactly the same place. I have bought all my tyres from there. In my experience, they are helpful and as good as you will get anywhere, especially locally. In fact, I was there last Saturday morning as I had a nail in my back tyre. They checked it out for me and fortunately it had gone in sideways and not done any damage at all. I was happy to pay the £20 that they normally charge for fitting a new tyre just for the peace of mind. I would recommend you ring and order your tyres first. You can take your wheels in and they will fit the tyres for you or you can ride your bike there and they will fit them on the bike. They won't book the actual job in. It works on a first come, first served basis. So basically, when they open up you need to be on the premises and book yourself in at the counter. Hope this helps Olga

Interesting thread - I drive past the place occasionally but never thought of them for tyres/punctures etc. Thanks.
