Sunday ride out

I've been given permission to go out and play on Sunday (the 10th), so I'm fishing for a ride out. The weather forecast today mentioned that Sunday should be OK. Any takers?

Would have loved to Ian, but i have had an unfortunate accident with a piece of timber and a hammer, and my left - clutch - hand is currently recovering with stitches for next ten days, nice to hear from you though, maybe next weekend. safe riding, maybe maggar and crew will be available!

Ouch! Neil that sounds painful. I've just checked the three day forcast and it claims a 65% chance of light showers. I guess that means it might or might not rain somewhere in the York area. I might have to hang that piece of seaweed out of the window.

I'll be out this afternoon as usual, probably heading for Bridlington and then up to Whitby on the coast Road. Setting off from York via Fridaythorpe and Sledmere at around midday.

heading up that way myself today, maybe stop at the cafe at fridaythorpe for a brew, im on a black 03 sporty not too hard to spot amongst all the sports bikes!

I thought you might not have seen my post i only saw the thread at about 11 30, but yeah it could have been me at seaways, (the bikes a 52 plate 03 model tho, so maybe not) I bumped into a mate there whos got a triumph thruxton so we teamed up and had a blast down to squiers on the back roads, just about kept up with him!
Im just off shipton road so yeah id be up for ride outs as and when,
apologies to Ian I didnt see your thread until too late so couldnt respond, hope you had a good ride, (didnt mean to hijack your thread!) also to neil hope the hand heals up quickly.
thats all for now, should be out next sunday, also thinking of going to olivers mount on saturday 23rd to the barry sheen classic bike meet if anyones interested.
