No one is being told what you should and shouldn't do we are not and will never be that type of club.

Still a Guest who is happy to use this site and not come and meet us, asking who's going to a rally on the same dates as our OUR own International Club Rally. (Shouting Asda in Morrisons)

This year for the people that do not do camping/rallies as we are not only a Rally Club we have allowed day tickets and proper bunk-house accommodation so those that have not seen the other side of the club they can get involved and enjoy what THEIR club does best.

Even the Howdooers could of had a bunk-house!!!!! But some of you will be there which is great.

We (Roger..bless him....LOL) has sold over 400 pre-booked tickets that is already MORE than the attendance at Oswestry last year so those not supporting YOUR club or any Guests that don't want to come along and party with us are going to miss out on a special weekend.

Hey you guests may even decide to join and get benefits like discounts at future rallies and from many suppliers.

Re: Shipley Rally - August Bank Holiday

Me and Steve (Marples) may be going to Walesby but due to circumstances it will only be for a couple of hours.
I wanted to go along and put faces to names from people I have got to know on here, particularly people who have continued to send me kind messages about my accident

But as you know Steve has a bee in his bonnet at the moment and has his own agenda. Still a very good mate and will always be but we are allowed to have different views.

Baza, the circumstances are my broken leg and lack of mobility, nothing to do with anything else.
Steves agendas are his and not mine and I didnt mention anything about that

That's not the same thing though Garry; the Shipley Rally web-site is totally dedicated to that one single event, this is a forum for members of HDRCGB and guests to discuss anything they want to.

I am not defending anybody's right to go to Shipley instead of Walesby as that shouldn't need defending. I think the right to talk about going to Shipley instead of Walesby should be defended.
I equally accept the "loyal responses" to the question - they're quite reassuring!

Personally I won't be going to either event but if the weather's good I'll go for a long ride on the Harley and if the weather is crap I'll go for a muddy ride on the KTM.

If the weather in Scotland improves in the next couple of days, we will be going there instead!! As Steve has a roof to do, hence more 'circumstances'.
My rallies are going to have to be saved until next year when I can go and enjoy them properly
