New Harley shop in Leeds

On my way to collect a parcel from RM, next to there office is a new Harley shop in the process of being fitted out. The premises are an old Chrysler show room, it's massive.

I thought HD where stuggling with sales of new bikes?

I wonder if the one just a mile or so away is closing. You evo guys must be excited.

Andy.

Re: New Harley shop in Leeds

it is closing on the 17th I think, the new shop should be open on the 24th. Bike sales are higher this year than last because of european shops taking advantage of the exchange rate and shipping uk bikes abroad.

Looking forward to the move though the old shop is shit for parking!

Any company names old and new. Eddie Wright was in Leeds but thought he closed ages ago. That leaves Tooty's Thunder City is he moving?

Go on tell all.

Is this a new dealership or indy?

Re: New Harley shop in Leeds

It's actually the Leeds dealership that is moving. Eddy Wright still owns the building they are currently in

Most staff in the shop wouldn't know an Evo if it ran over their foot, let alone have parts for one in stock.

This move has been promised since the day they took over - the Leeds shop is part of the group that owns the Manchester and Doncaster HD Delaerships too. I did hear a murmur about them having something to do with Newcastle but don't know if this is true.
