Its been a few years since the last Yorkshire Winter Party so this time we thought we’d try a Spring Event. Just the sort of opportunity to kick of the riding season by getting together with a few like minded people.

The Baildon Club is right in the centre of Baildon Village so ideally placed for pubs, shops, banks, eateries etc. Plenty of parking too.

Pip Lawrence has kindly offered free camping up at Dobrudden Caravan Park for anyone who wants it - hopefully the weather should be warming up by then… For the less hardy souls amongst you there are a few local hotels at various rates.

Anyone who wants tickets can obtain them from the Regional meets in Jan, Feb and March.

Alternatively you can Paypal the cash and your postal address to the email address on the flyer and the tickets will be sent out to you in the post. Please use the Personal Tab within Paypal and mark the payment as a Gift otherwise we will have to pay fees on the payment.

In case you're worried about sending your address over the internet only one Full HDRCGB Club Member will see your details. If you don’t have Paypal email or PM me or Tones and I’m sure we can sort something out.

Tickets are now available for the above at £5 and going like hot cakes (slight exaggeration but were selling well for a rainy night in January).

A few people have mentioned local hotels so heres a small selection for those not fancying free camping in late March. These are in the £30 range for a single room:-

Hotel about a mile and a half from Baildon:-
ibis Bradford Shipley hotel: Book a hotel in BRADFORD
Its got mostly 4* and 5* on Tripadvisor. Its not mentioned on their site but I think they do weekend deals.

Also this place which is a wee bit further away:-
Abbey Lodge Hotel
This ones got mostly 5* on Tripadvisor

Also a local B&B:-
Langbar House Bed & Breakfast
This ones also got mostly 5* on Tripadvisor

For completenness sake there's this one with its own golf course, pool, gym etc but expect to pay £70-80+ here for a single.

Bloody well wish I could have done this as i did the early ones years ago.....when Don was rep but I'll/we will be away...Always a great party, great good ole Yorkshire people, [mind you, you won't get a free drink!] BUT the pies are GREAT
