General
- This is the website of the Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain and its primary purpose is to support and promote the Club and communicate with our members. Whilst we welcome both members and and non-members you must follow our rules.
You must not:
- Make postings that may bring the Harley-Davidson Riders Club Great Britain into disrepute
- Make personal comments about other users of this forum
- Spam/abuse any other member via e-mail or Private Messages
- Use the forums for profit or gain - no adverts or selling except in the classifieds section
- Disrespect other clubs - we are all riders
- Post any messages or 'jokes' that are obscene, vulgar,
sexually-orientated, hateful, racist, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws
- Post pictures of others that may cause embarrassment
- Post material for which you do not own the copyright
- Post the same thread more than once, not even in different forums
You must:
- Post in English
- Be respectful of others at all times. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.
- Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted
Classified Advertisements
- HDRCGB Members may post adverts in the classifieds section at no cost. Visitors pay a small charge that helps to support the site
- The forum rules also apply to adverts
- You may only post items relevant to the category. If we don't have a suitable category, pm the webmaster. If you try to advertise an inappropriate item, we may remove it and you will not be refunded.
Signatures
- Large or inconsiderate signatures spoil the site for visitors so please keep your signatures a reasonable size. Only one graphic please, maximum 100px height by 300px wide
- Advertising or Links may not be placed in signatures without the permission of the webmaster
Trade Members and Visitors
- If you wish to place a link or graphic in a signature, please contact us for advertising rates
- You may not canvas for business on the forums, although you may PM a user as a direct response to a question
- We value your technical input, but please understand that if you give any input - it must be freely given. The recipient has no obligation to buy anything off you
- You may link to your business homepage in your profile
Acceptable use policy
- You may not promote or link to any site that offers Drugs, Pornography, Gambling, MLM (or similar), Loans, Mobile Phones, Get Rich Quick Schemes etc. The basic rule is: Keep it related to Harley-Davidson Motorcycles
Although the administrators and moderators of the forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of
the author, and The Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain will not be held responsible for the content of any message. We reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. | |
