About Me Was a welder for 8 years, in the last 2 took my A levels at night school and went to Portsmouth Uni where I graduated in 1996 with a Computer Science BSC.

My wife, Davona, asked me out in July 2000 - we had our 1st date on July 20th. For 2 people who did not believe in marriage before we met, I could have asked her on our 1st date - I waited for 3 months then we married on our 1st aniversary. We both like and dislike pretty much the same things, she still thinks most Harley's look alike however has a passion for Fatboys (I think its the Harley Wink) and has a funny story, least I think it is.

Harleys are something genetic for me. Growing up in Bournemouth - the evolution of man was that you started on a British Bike (I had a chopped 650 bonny which I put on the road just before my 18th) and then when your balls dropped you got a Harley. After my trummy, I had a Honda chop (most because of the amount of miles was doing at the time with the NCC) - then a GS850. An accident saw me take a 20 year break from bikes! Life took its own hold and I uprooted my life to go to Uni, then spent time establishing a life. I was reminded of my Harley destiny when I was returning to my Reading digs (at the time - 1995) from a 60 mile training bicycle ride on a blistering day, when 20 members of the local 81 rode by - that sound put me in Heaven. This event rekindled my yearning for a Harley and I eventually pulled my finger out and bought my streetbob in 2007. 29k miles later, I sold that in 2009 to buy my dream bike - a Nightrain. Me and nightrains started in 2007, had not noticed them before (!); Oxford HD loaned me one while I was getting some work done on the streetbob. Remember getting it home and thinking jeez that riding position is crap, seat was to hard, etc etc. Then I came back outside to put it in the garage and fell in love. Dreamed of having one since, tried to make my Streetbob into a semi-nightrain, failed. Decided to stop failing, sell the 'bob and when the time is rigth get a Nightrain. The rest is history. Thats me.
