For sale is my 1997 Ultraglide. I am the second owner; I bought it in 1999. The bike has been used for it's intended purpose and has covered about 90,000 kms (approx 56,000 miles) . It has been used for long touring trips throughout Europe and is one of the few Glides that has made it to Asian and back without the aid of a tow truck.
It has been regularly serviced and maintained to a high standard. It has been modified over the years with useful accessories to enhance it's useability. Mods include:- OEM Four piston brake calipers and later fork bottoms, full floating disc rotors, OEM hydraulic clutch, reach handlebars, OEM low profile rear shocks, Progressive fork lowering kit and springs,Stage 2 tune, Progressive Touring Link, Hayden hydraulic primary chain tensioner, OEM low profile touring seat, Kuryakyn blade levers, converted from injection to Crane Hi 4 ignition system with S&S Super E carb. The engine has been rebored to 10 using standard compression pistons. The cylinder heads have been skimmed 10 thou an the valves etc replaced at the same time (not because they were needed just because it's my baby). Andrews adjustable pushrods fitted at the same time. Stock silencers (with slight modification to the baffles). Front engine mount replaced with revised part. OEM oil cooler fitted (although probably not needed now the injection system is no more.
Can't remember the MOT expiry date but I will put 12 months on it at asking price.
