Anyone have a broken drive belt lying around? I'm toying with the idea of trying to make a strap wrench to lock the transmission pulley, and an old belt would be a good starting point. This is part of my grand masterplan for preventing belt failure by being prepared for it. If I get prepared, it'll last forever, right?
I guess most broken belts are lying at the side of the M6 somewhere, but maybe you have one in your shed?
