Due to continued health issues I have decided to sell my Harley, unfortunately a year ago I had a very slow speed accident which has permanently damaged my ankle and I am unlikely to be riding again for quite sometime.
So, the bike - 1340 FLHTCU 1990, currently no MOT or taxed. For the MOT the bike may require the front tyre replacing, it is quite near the limit and will need replacing soon. Everything else will pass just fine.
Good bits, the bike starts, runs and stops, sounds fantastic especially when the stereo is turned up loud - to compliment the bike there is COMPLETE history containing all service info, receipts, MOT certificates, invoices etc... I have a spreadsheet I can forward if required.
Not so good bits. The CB radio doesn't work, although the radio does - the power supply board under the left panel requires repair or replacement. I managed to snap the antenna off the other day when closing the boot and during cold weather the starter motor is sometimes lazy if the bike hasn't been run for a while.
There is a small amount of scratching on the left side of the front crash bar and passanger foot board, this was occured when I came off at 25 MPH, luckily the bike landed on my foot which saved the bike from any real damage - but now I can't ride!
There are a few paint knocks and chips, the bike really does need to be loved and more importantly ridden.
I want this bike to go to an enthusiast that will bring her back to her glory and be ridden - I would encourage viewing the bike and I will answer any questions, feel free to ask.
I am asking a fair price for this bike with such a rich service history.
