    Dunno about the F Type... but I’ve got a really beautiful S Type (with manual transmission), that cost me £500.

    Some people won’t (or can’t) pay upwards of twelve grand for a bike.

    And funnily enough, living in the past ain’t so bad, when it means riding an Evo Softail that cost me under five grand.

    I love fettling less than perfect bikes, and making them my own. A new bike, straight from a ‘Dealer’ holds no appeal whatsoever.

    Each to their own of course, but nothing would persuade me to buy the new ‘Rolling Recall’ (one for the riders who remember the AMF years).

    And yes I can afford a new one, I just choose a different path to motorcycling nirvana...
