I couldn't care less what the MoCo is up to...

I've only ever ridden carb. Evo's, and nothing's gonna change that.

'Modern day' Harley Davidson is just the same as any other consumer goods company.

And that's of no interest to me whatsoever!

The adventure bike looks like a bloated Royal Enfield Himalayan on steroids - that also looks shite, but at least the little Enfield has some genuine off road capabilities and will not require several people to pick the thing up when dropped! The whole design for me is so bad, it makes you wonder what goes on in the heads of those in charge! It takes years of experience and technical knowledge to design a decent adventure bike - KTM being a good example. Then H-D think, hey there is an opportunity to shift more bikes in this specialist sector of the market, lets chuck something together, it will have no real off road attributes, but then no self respecting adventure rider would ride such crap - bet it will have belt drive, great for dirt riding! LOL - still I'm sure it will float someones boat - looking forward to seeing my first one at a future rally site!

One things for sure there is absolutley no way Harley have designed these bikes themselves. They can't design anything that does not have 1/4 inch thick steel plate in the frame somewhere.

I would be interested to know who's hand is behind these bikes, and where they are going to be built. I strongly suspect its the far east.

The 'Custom' 1250 looks OK and should give the Indian bobber a run for it's money.
My main concern with the others is that historically when they've tried more modern styles they haven't sold.
The adventure bike will need to be amazing if it's gonna make a dent in that market looking like that.

As a future corporate strategy, I wonder if this has occurred to the top guys at the MoCo:

To sell an authentic, substantially made in America, high quality & good value motorcycle...

    Just a thought...

I know electric bikes are the future, but having a club badge of the iconic V twin emblem replaced with a f***ing battery symbol some how does not seem right. I'd rather ride the shite adventure bike than sit on a battery with 2 wheels - no soul, no character - death of biking as we know it, if this makes me sound like an old fart than so be it!

They are knackered. The budget 500 and 750 bikes either have dire sales or are displacing more value-added bikes as the total bike sales have tanked.

The 2D artists impressions of the leccy bikes are a joke, looks like a school project.

The Livewire is going to be an over priced toy for Tesla owners in LA.

If this is the future of HD its going to be a short lived one.
