Hydraulic primary tensioners and removing granade plate

Looking to fit a hydraulic primary chain tensioner and remove the granade plate from my 2005 1200 Roadster while I’m in there.
Have read up a bit on the Hot bikes HB125 XL tensioner seems ok but ofc no idea if I can pick one up in UK ?
So anyone recommend a Hyraulic tensioner and link to purchase?

Also do I need an after market kit to replace the granade plates or just a couple of new plates to replace the granade?
Sorry long day and to tired to research

    thanks all

You need 2 steel and 1 friction to add to the stack.
Not sure on tensioner, i seem to recall concerns about them over tensioning but i could be wrong. You will have to do some research on them.

I use the HB-125's on both if my own bikes. Never even looked at them since fitting them years ago - excellent product. I don't know if they have any UK distributors, I bought mine direct from them - http://www.sohotbikes.com/products.html

I replace the whole thing with an Energy One performance clutch, never heard of any way of replacing just the rivet plate.

Cant have a better recommendation Alex cheers-- ordered

think i'll do the cheaper 2 steel one friction option atm Alex unless on inspection the clutch is worn silly.
    thanks

the over tensioning concerns were for the OME ratchet up tensioner big twins (ive got one on my RK) that auto tightens primary chain but does not slack off. so under extreme whipping of chain (so to speak) the tensioner can over tighten. But, as far as i know, its all hear say and as yet unproven. Its suggested that its the cause of the inner primary chaincase bearing failures. though in my book its as likely to be belts over tightening when hot as my RK drive belt dose. And ys my inner bearing was destroyed lol.

tbh i hate belts-- u know were you are with a chain
