    A bit of 70's nostalgia

Some of the southern folks might even recognise someone.

    Spotted: a Shovel at 5:23, a right-side H-D handlebar switch at 7:52, and a Sporty at 11:01.

Have to love those Gold Star(s). Leave it to BSA to design a one-lunger that was, at the same time, both 'meaty' and 'pretty'.

    good video!

When in danger or in doubt, run in circles scream and shout!

A common mistake made when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Re: A bit of 70's nostalgia

What a great find thanks for that!

I used to go up there most Sundays when i was not away at rallies.

Great times belting down the (then) still dual carriageway from Leatherhead to Box hill looking out for the coppers and speed traps. Getting stopped on a regular basis for minor infringements of the law-lol

The top of Box hill used to be the main gathering place for the Brit bikes and you still even had some of the original greasers around from the 1950's and the bottom carpark was everybody else.

Amazing some Sundays just how many bikers used to gather there, sadly the Police presence drastically increased and became more of a pain in the arse and local councils highways dept narrowing the roads/speed bumps etc. slowly killed it

Needless to say i found myself at (06.29) on the film, back to camera unfortunately wearing the denim cut off nobody wore leather ones in those days, showing my first bike club before moving onto bigger and better things.

Mind you the hair was already starting to thin and disappear and I was only 17/18 !!

    Happy Days.
