Does the 'clutch lite xx ' really work?

I wish to lighten the clutch operation on my 92 fxdc without breaking the bank. Does the clutch lite xx available online really make a difference or cause the clutch to slip? Thanks

I used one for a while. They don’t make the clutch slip. It’s easier to pull because you’re not moving the clutch pushrod as far which means clutch adjustment had to be perfect to disengage the clutch properly and even then you’re not separating the plates as much. Personally I wouldn’t use one again. When I took it off I fitted a DiamondBack cable which helped.

Same here - although I'd have said reduction was nearer half. Lubing the cable with gearbox oil helps too. Also got one on the Sporty.
