My renewal is in a couple of weeks, I'll have a ring round when it's due.

Hi Andy, I've never had a bad one with the RAC. Always pretty positive, but I get your drift. Carol Nash were good at one time, but lately they are rubbish. Hopefully, they will get the message and sort themselves out.

    Re: Vehicle Recovery

I have been with the RAC since 1978. They have never let me down apart from once looking on the wrong Dock Road (I was in Liverpool they were in New Brighton) after I broke down coming off the Douglas ferry. No relaying you home plus they do seem to understand motorcycles and how much they weigh! I believe you get what you pay for and being a member in your own right may be beneficial as opposed to having breakdown services as part of an insurance policy etc. But that's just my opinion.. Hopefully their services won't be needed tomorrow on the 385 mile bimble up to Kelso.

Never had any issues with Carol Nash, except trying to get some manc guy on the phone to understand me when I'm stood on the A66 in a blizzard when it was blowing a hooley. HD Insurance IS Carol Nash so you're getting no better service there.
