The back end of that 'Bareknuckle' looks wrong and unfinished, where do you put the saddle bags, rack, and sissy bar.
I wonder how long it will be before we see bike engines that shut down when stopped at traffic lights and restart when you pull on the clutch!
    It's all downhill from here.

    Re: 2020 Street fighter 'Bareknuckle'

My main problem with this is that there are already about a dozen or more bikes from Jap & Italian manufacturers that look pretty much identical.
It will need to be very good & very competitively priced to attract anyone into this style of bike away from Kawasaki etc.
I appreciate that Harley aren't going to keep selling huge numbers of bikes in there traditional style forever but they are going to need to come up with something more original than this if they want to survive.

Re-reading the posts I am left with the thought that HD could be ok IF they ensure there still is something the traditionalists can relate to that they can fall back on if the contemporary models don't find a market - assuming legislation will still allow them to build anything like that?

Don't forget the bulk storage of shovels. They could roll those out and they would sell out pretty quick. Headlines - Shovel Saves Harley!

Isn't that the whole point? Harley are trying to produce a bike (alongside it's traditional market) that isn't a million miles off the competition, so it becomes a viable option to HomdaYamazukikwak riders? These folk aren't ever going to buy a Heritage model, but might consider one of these. If they're priced right of course.

Absolutely. Look at the car market. All of the SUV ranges look almost identical but they all sell. Pricing is very important.

I still think they should have called it the bareback.

Now that might have attracted a whole new generation of riders.

My! That is a tasty blend of the old and new.

Paul, I'd quote you if I knew how to double-quote in the same post, dinosaur that I am. "running out out dead dinosaurs" makes me wonder what's in the pipeline for alcohol-fueled motorcycles.................

Looked up this tidbit....... explains the engineering details better than I knew already

OMG!!! I just invented a new name for a Harley model...... DynaSoar
