    Platform Tavern Friday 19th/July

For those of you not going to The Triple or Minehead rallies, Pete(stinkz) band Pot Kettle Black are playing at The Platform tavern in Southampton this Friday.

So being a 3rd Friday wildcard meet I thought we could go along and support him.

    See some of you there?

If it looks like rain in Eastleigh nearer the day we'll see you there, otherwise have a good one!

    Re: Platform Tavern Friday 19th/July

Just six of us in the end turned up not really unexpected considering how many things are on this weekend.

Those being Lee & Claire, Mark & Allison, Cliff and yours truly.

The pub was very busy and it was standing room only next to where Pete's band were playing, luckily just round the corner from there we managed to grab a large table to sit around. That actually worked really well not only enabling us to hear the band but also hear each other talk-lol

Pete popped round between sets to thank us for our support and say hello and with a good choice of beers it was a good night all round for those that could drink!

With Pot Kettle Black doing a few encores it ended up quite a late night especially by the time I finally got home, still it's nice to go into the smoke once in a while.
