Ride on my H-D for a Charity fundraising.

We went to a fund raising night a few weeks ago, Eight dancers from Phoenix Belles Burlesque UK performed three dances and the show was supported by Lady Babette Von Booty, a dance act, and Rachel Bea, a 1940s singer, who performed a 15 minute slot as people enjoyed a fish and chip supper from Boundary Fish and Chip Shop of Market Deeping. Rachel then gave a 40-minute performance at the end. Burlesque evening at Deeping Sports and Social Club and more than £5,700 was raised for Sarcoma UK'
At the end of the auction I asked if I could offer a passenger ride on my Harley with a burger lunch thrown in so that raised another £70.00 for the charity.
I've just got back from the ride with Jean Taylor who bid the highest. We rode through Market Deeping to Stamford past Rutland Water to just past Uppingham for a cheese burger and Pepsi lunch then back to Market Deeping. Jean was an excellent passenger and really enjoyed it. This is her 1955 Chevrolet a real beauty.

Both those machines look well looked after. I love a Road King, but they are too heavy for getting in and out of the garage.

Well done on the charity - all helps.

I'd like to go for a spin in that '55 (though I love the '57 best!), last sat got a spin in an Edsel, apparently one of only two in GB?

Blimey thanks Tom! you really are my guardian angel on the website!
This is a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere restored by Antonio, the founder of HD Riders Club Italy many years ago, he was quite well known to many of our members back then. He had bad experiences with the factory people in Italy that put him off Harleys for a while so he rescued this from a scrapyard. (he had a small HD workshop that HDItaly gave him a hard time over)
